Lindsy Babish on Raindrop Technique®

Raindrop Technique® originated from the research of D.Gary Young and a Lakota medicine man almost two decades ago. It combines the art of aromatherapy with the techniques of Vita Flex and massage in the application of essential oils to various areas of the body. This collection provides a revolutionary means of bringing balance and harmony to the body - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

In this unique process a series of therapeutic-grade essential oils are dispensed onto the spine. They are dropped through the energetic field from a height of about six inches like little drops of rain to achieve a layering effect. The oils are worked in with various light massage techniques and the combined effect assists in the body's energetic balance.

Usually, pain is caused by inflammation.  When inflammation occurs this slows down the exchange of oxygen and nutrients at the cell level.  Pure essential oils deliver oxygen to the blood stream almost instantaneously.  What this means is once oxygen is restored, nutrients can reach the cells and the body can begin to balance itself and pain can be reduced.

In an age where antibiotics are failing due to excessive use, we turn to the plant kingdom for help.  Research indicates that essential oils are highly effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.  Studies find that essentials oils are even effective against the “super bugs” like MRSA.  Research also indicates that certain microorganisms lodge near the spinal cord, so applying oils to this area gets right to the heart of the problem.  What that means is that these oils can help protect you against flu and colds.

The oils used in the Raindrop Technique (RT) were selected to synergistically combine to simultaneously to not only kill viral and bacterial pathogens, reduce inflammation, support the immune system, they also help to balance energy, lift the spirit, restore calm and increase the ability to concentrate.

A number of medical professionals throughout the United States have adopted RT in their clinical practice and have found it to be an outstanding resource for aiding sciatica, scoliosis, and chronic back pain.

While the Raindrop Techniques is a wonderful wellness tool, it is not a cure-all or a magic bullet.  A healthy balanced body is the result of a well-rounded program of exercise and proper diet.  Health is everything we do, say, hear, see and eat.  The Raindrop Technique is one tool to help restore balance in the body that will result in good health.

Healthy eating habits and a positive, open mind will help prepare the body and skin to accept the oils better and more rapidly.
